Embodiment of a Queen - Curated Box

A little over a month ago, I had a dream about creating a product that would celebrate everything beautiful about being a woman; especially a woman of color. 

Although we are all born from greatness, societal norms puts against each other, especially black women. It is beyond a beautiful thing, that more than ever women of color are embracing everything about themselves from their skin, hair, to their warm, but nuturing ways and showing that it is more than okay to love yourself and your sister-friend.

We are consistently working to better our mind and spirit. We move purposefully with those around us including family and friends. We are unabashed in removing ourselves from those same people if they are not helping us grow.

We want more for ourselves and the sisters around us. Sisters doesn't have to mean the same ethnicity or one who shares the same blood.  If you stand for/with me then you are my sister. You are a beautiful woman in my corner and I in yours. 

Thus, this line came to be.

We will forever embrace the shape of our eyes, our nose, the coil/curl of our hair, the glow of our skin, the stride in our walk, the power in our heart and mind, the power in our words; for they are not just for you, but for your sister as well.
